Our traditional Dog Hotel Grimming is located in the beautiful Rauris Valley in the Salzburg region and has been offering the perfect place for a relaxing and adventure-filled holiday with your dog for over 15 years.

Our Rooms – Arrive & Feel at Home

At Dog Hotel Grimming, we offer three room categories with different rates: MOPS, LABRADOR and MASTINO. The names reflect the size and amenities – from a cozy retreat to spacious rooms with balconies.

• MOPS Room: Small, compact, and ideal for solo travelers with their dog.
• LABRADOR Room: Our mid-range category – spacious and partly with balcony.
• MASTINO Room: The largest option – perfect for larger dogs or multiple dogs.

Some rooms feature a private balcony. Feel free to let us know your preferences when booking – we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Hotel Grimming is not only a home for dog lovers, but also a place rich in tradition. The historic building has been owned by the Langreiter family for 240 years. With forty charming rooms, it offers a unique combination of history, coziness, and modern comfort.

Your day begins here with a lovingly prepared breakfast buffet, including fresh pastries and a selection of coffee and tea. And the best part: dogs are, of course, warmly welcome in the dining room! Cozy dog blankets and their own sleeping spots are provided to ensure that everyone feels completely comfortable.

For those looking for a bit more action alongside hiking, we offer a variety of workshops – from agility to hoopers, mantrailing, and much more. In summer, the Sonnblick outdoor pool (about a 10-minute walk) invites you to cool off, and in winter, you can go skiing while Egon takes care of your dogs at the DogCenter.

Grimmings Gastronomy

Our culinary delights, all freshly prepared by Michael himself, begin each morning with a generous breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. In the afternoon, enjoy a selection of homemade cakes along with coffee and tea. In the evening, we serve a four-course dinner with several options, which you can choose from in the morning. Of course, we always offer a vegetarian option – because we want to make sure every guest feels perfectly taken care of.
